NewsTOP acquires 100% of Tonkeeper
The Open Platform (TOP) is acquiring Tonkeeper, one of the key infrastructure products in the TON ecosystem. Previously, Tonkeeper had already been part of TOP’s portfolio, while the team continued to operate independently.
The deal includes the core non-custodial Tonkeeper wallet, as well as other Tonkeeper B2C and B2B products, such as Tonviewer, Tonkeeper Pro and TON API, the most widely used developer tool in the ecosystem, powering a significant share of TON-based applications and services.
Tonkeeper remains the most popular non-custodial wallet in the TON ecosystem, trusted by millions of users worldwide. Its core principles of a fully self-custodial architecture, user control over private keys, and a strong focus on security remain unchanged. The acquisition does not affect the security, privacy, or storage of users’ private keys.

TOP has been closely involved in Tonkeeper from its early stages. We’ve now decided to apply TOP’s technical expertise to further strengthen the product and support its long-term development. TOP develops and supports a wide range of TON ecosystem infrastructure products and services, including Wallet in Telegram, the NFT marketplace Getgems, and other projects. This experience is expected to bring additional value to Tonkeeper and to the TON ecosystem in general.

Four years ago, TOP, Oleg Illarionov, and I took on a big mission: getting TON back on its feet by building great mass-market products. Our team delivered standout solutions that are inventive, well-engineered, and stylish across the TON tech stack. We’ve built Tonkeeper, TON API, and Tonviewer, which have become flagship products that other ecosystems can benchmark. We were first to launch gasless payments at scale and contributed to the key ecosystem technologies: TON Connect, the Tact language, the W5 account standard, and on-chain subscriptions. Together with Telegram, TOP, and the community, we rebooted TON and delivered the products and infrastructure it needed. We’ve worked closely with TOP teams throughout, and, in 2026, we’re taking this collaboration to the next level: better goal alignment and tighter engineering and management cooperation. Tonkeeper, as an integral part of TOP’s portfolio, will be a more powerful app and push TON even further.
Following the acquisition, Oleg Andreev and Oleg Illarionov will focus on developing new products and initiatives. They will continue to support Tonkeeper and other TON ecosystem projects as technology advisors.
